Spring Break: Day 7: The bridge from Inception

Today Garance and I went off to see the Eiffel Tower!  But, also, the bridge from the movie Inception. Remember, this one? When Ellen Page is in a dream with Leonardo DiCaprio and things get weird?

Yeahhh! Inception bridge!

Also, I'm a huge fan of the show Parks and Recreation, which has this scene in it.

Garance, bless her little Parisian heart, knew I love that show and had seen me post about that scene before. She offered to recreate it with me, even though she had no idea what the heck this show even was. A+ friendship.

That's friendship.

Oh, yeah, and there was the Eiffel Tower. It was windy, so excuse my hair going everywhere.

The Eiffel tower is HUGE. So much bigger than it seems. Just freaking enormous. Garance and I went up to the top of it via elevator.

Where there was a champagne bar.

Look at Paris! Isn't it lovely? They have a law that buildings can't be above so high, so the skyline is pretty low and you can see everything.

That was mostly what we did that day. It was freezing, so we didn't want to spent much time outside or waiting in a line somewhere. Garance did take me to a mall on that way back with some gorgeous architecture (it was too pricy for us to do any actual shopping in it, but the dome ceiling was lovely).

Another France vs. Italy thing: I feel like French people judge me super hard when I can't speak French! I'm really glad I'm traveling with Garance. In Italy, people do get frustrated, but they're at least a little more patient and open. In France you can feel the judgement.
